These terms apply together with Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where they differ, these terms add to it.
What Whatify is
Whatify reads documents you choose and explains them in plain language, with reminders. It is not legal, tax, medical or financial advice. Explanations are made by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Always check important details, especially dates and amounts, against the original document. Whatify shows the line each date and amount came from so you can check it. You are responsible for paying bills and meeting deadlines; reminders depend on your phone's notification settings and are not guaranteed.
Whatify Plus
- Whatify Plus is an auto-renewing subscription: $3.99 per month or $29.99 per year (US prices; local prices are shown in the app). New subscribers get a 7-day free trial.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple.
- Plus has fair-use limits (25 explanations a day, 300 a month) to keep the service reliable for everyone. The free plan includes 5 explanations a month.
Acceptable use
Only scan documents you have the right to process. Don't try to get around limits, reverse engineer the service, or use it to process other people's personal data without permission. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Whatify is provided "as is", and the developer is not liable for late fees, penalties or other losses from relying on an explanation or a reminder.
